Banquet Houseman/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server/Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. This position requires a strong focus on guest relations, food service, and hospitality.

Duties

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the bussing of tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling and presentation.
• Support catering operations by assisting with food preparation as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food service and handling.
• Break down banquet setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.

Skills

• Strong guest relations skills to create a welcoming environment for all attendees.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to handle food safely and adhere to health regulations.
• Knowledge of banquet operations, including serving techniques and event setup.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.46 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
