Job Duties

• Assist with the monthly accounting close and of the entity’s general ledger
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting & the G/L structure
• Develop efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures for accounting activities and functions
• Assists with annual audit process to provide all requested information during audit
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare account reconciliations
• Monitor cash position and other treasury functions
• Inventory management

Requirements:

• B.S. Accounting
• Skilled with process improvement – automating accounting steps to create efficiencies
• 3 years’ experience in general accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP, accounting rules, regulations, policies, and internal controls
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills (power user: pivot tables, sum if, macro, vlookup, no programming required) and proficiency with automated accounting systems
• 3 years of experience working with an ERP system
