Job Summary:
Our client, a leading Automotive Service Retailer, is seeking an experienced and professional Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and bring a strong understanding of the entire accounts receivable process.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritize work
- Previous experience working in a retail-based company
Key Responsibilities:
- Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Organize and file deposit receipts as invoices are paid
- Perform daily reconciliation of deposits to cash postings
- Prepare reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Examine customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines to resolve collections
- Perform account reconciliations and generate age analysis
- Investigate and resolve customer and store queries
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person
- Process adjustments as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
