THE ROLE
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Beverage Marketing to lead the development and execution of our client’s marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building brands, developing high-performing marketing teams, and driving revenue growth, particularly in the beverage sector. You’ll be responsible for positioning our brands in a competitive market, driving customer acquisition, and fostering deep brand loyalty across various channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to executing plans and building the future of beverage brands.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy to support company growth and brand positioning.

Lead and inspire a growing marketing team, setting clear objectives and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Oversee brand positioning, creative direction, and execution of marketing campaigns to strengthen brand equity and drive volume growth.

Act as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, sales, and product teams, driving company growth through innovative marketing initiatives.

Conduct ongoing consumer research and analysis to identify brand/product opportunities and develop customer segmentation strategies.

Manage the brand P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and spending plans.

Design and implement high-impact consumer marketing programs to drive brand awareness, velocity, and sales growth.

Establish KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and maximize ROI.

Establish and track brand health metrics to achieve brand growth and health targets.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and fair employment practices.
WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

12 years of progressive marketing experience, with 7 years in team management, preferably within the beverage, food, or CPG industries.

Proven track record in brand management, new product development, and leading marketing teams.

Experience in driving brand growth and bringing new products to market.

Strong commercial and financial acumen, with P&L management and budget forecasting experience.

Ability to apply consumer insights to product development using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Expertise in brand development, creative direction, and executing successful marketing campaigns.

Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams.

Proven ability to lead, build, and manage strong cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
