Job Summary

Hive Group is a rapidly growing small business establishing and enhancing internal processes. We are seeking an energetic individual to join our team to provide assistance with IT and facilities management. This position would support corporate operations. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved on the ground floor scaling our IT infrastructure!

Position Responsibilities

• Report into our McClean, VA office location with occasional telework when office usage is not anticipated
• Manage Google Accounts and access for employees within google enterprise
• Primary administrator for the corporate G Suite Platform
• Coordinate with partner staff to ensure compliance and maintenance of facilities
• Track and manage IT assets such as; hardware, licenses, physical security, etc.
• Support maintenance and development of corporate cyber security infrastructure and related policies
• Support client requests for IT support at corporate locations
• Test and monitor for vulnerabilities
• Document IT and security SOPs 
• Provide technical consultation on new systems implementation as needed
• Extend professional, courteous, and timely service to end users and business units

• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
• Implement security measures
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements (e.g. CCMI)
• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
• Responsible for network management, software development and database administration
• Define software, hardware and network requirements

Job Qualifications

• Relevant computer science bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5-7 years in complex IT Infrastructure and Systems administration
• 2-4 years of experience with cloud platforms, Google preferred
• Industry and technical certification(s) in support of experience preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of networking, VOIP, and virtual meeting technologies (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, OWLs)
• Ability to travel to Hive’s office at 8281 Greensboro Dr. Mclean, VA 22102
• Network Infrastructure experience (firewalls, routers, servers, etc)
