The position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment on a daily basis.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Read and understand Hixson Metal Finishing procedures (HPS’s)Understand and perform Contract Review processUnderstand Hixson Metal Finishing’s processing capabilitiesWork in accordance with customer and regulatory (i.e. FAA) requirementsCorrectly interpret customer PO requirementsRead and understand specification requirements and verify this against customer requirementsRead and understand drawing / blueprint requirementsInterface with customers regarding questions relating to their purchase order requirements, missing information on PO etc.Prepare Job TravelersPrepare and maintain frozen process proceduresPrepare certificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE : Proficient in English both written and oralFamiliar with process specifications in related industry (preferred)AS9100D Requirements (preferred)Nadcap Chemical Processing (preferred)REQUIRED SKILLS : Intermediate computer skillsGood communication skills (both written and oral)Good customer service skillsEDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERRED : High School DiplomaCollege degree a plusCompany Description : Hixson Metal Finishing is a premier metal finishing company whose vision is rooted in excellence, integrity, and accountability.
