Position: Tree Planter and Delivery Driver

Full-Time employment

Reports to Tree Planting Supervisor

Summary:
The position’s primary goal is to deliver/plant trees, shrubs, and other plants/products at the home of our garden center customers. This is a very physical job title and lifting 50-80 lbs. singlehandedly is common.

Communication is key as this position can act as a liaison between the customer and sales team. When the planting season is slow (summer months) and planting is minimal, other jobs may be offered for supplemental hours.

Employee is expected to continually improve customer satisfaction through the highest quality customer service.

Requirements:

 Must be at least 18 years of age
 Ability to perform physical labor for an extended time period and multiple days per week
 Experience in a service-related industry or function is beneficial
 Ability to provide quality customer service and deliver the Hoerr Experience (E3 – Easy, Enjoyable, and Excellent)
 Ability to drive skidsteer with some proficiency
 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
 Ability to drive Class B truck and trailer or obtain the proper licensing
 Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints and keep them confidential
 Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
 Needs to be able to learn how to operate vehicular machinery like a skid steer

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
