Service Dispatcher

As a Service Dispatcher, you will be the person our customers rely on to get service when they need it! You will prepare records and distribute work orders to Service Technicians in response to customer requests using our scheduling and mapping technology. Responsibilities:

As a Service Dispatcher, you will use your communication and active listening skills to devise the most efficient solutions.

Specific duties include:

• Answer customer service call and taking payments, scheduling service calls and answer general questions as needed
• Routing technicians appropriately based on skill set and area, as well as finding work as needed for production goals.
• Keeping in contact with the technicians on shift to ensure customers are called when in transit and that techs are in proper activity codes on dispatch monitor
• Scheduling and rescheduling tune ups as needed
• Calling to schedule follow up work
• Putting in tech recommended follow up work, new equipment leads and delivery follow ups as needed
• Filling out productivity report for the day
• Running and distributing production and revenue reports
• Reviewing and double checking calls that were completed for accuracy and thoroughness
• Quality assurance follow-up calls to customer who have received service calls

Requirements:

As a Service Dispatcher, you must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well both independently and in a team environment. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customers and coworkers.

Specific qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 -2 years prior dispatch experience preferred
• Prior experience in a customer service setting a plus
• Proven problem solving skills
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, MS Outlook and Web navigation
