Job Title: Floater (Days - Yellow Shift)
Schedule: 2-2-3 (6 AM – 6 PM)
Pay: Starting at $19.48/hour, with progression to $20.98/hour after 1 year
Location: Oconto, Wi

We are seeking a flexible and hardworking individual to join our team as a Floater. This is an entry-level position where you’ll be placed where needed to support operations, including assisting machine operators and performing utility work. The ideal candidate is adaptable, motivated, and ready to take on physical tasks in a fast-paced factory environment.

About The Position
We are seeking a flexible and hardworking individual to join our team as a Floater. This is an entry-level position where you’ll be placed where needed to support operations, including assisting machine operators and performing utility work. The ideal candidate is adaptable, motivated, and ready to take on physical tasks in a fast-paced factory environment.
What is the 2-2-3 Schedule?
- 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
- Rotating schedule that allows for consistent time off while maintaining steady work hours.
- Work every other weekend (have every other weekend off.)
- Shift hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Support machine operators and general machine functions.
- Wrap pallets, stage and move finished products, and assist in raw material preparation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic equipment.
- Perform housekeeping tasks at workstations and around machinery.
- Safely handle and move materials like caps, trays, and gaylords of waste.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any food safety concerns.
- Flexibly fill in for breaks and support other team members as needed.
- Ensure the safe and accurate exchange of information with incoming teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a physically demanding role, and candidates should be prepared for:
- Repeated twisting, turning, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Moving and stacking materials using hand trucks (pallet jacks).
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during 12-hour shifts.
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds].
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and safety rules.
- Previous factory experience preferred but not required.
- Pay Rate: $19.48/hour to start, with increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year (up to $20.98/hour).
