The Key Accounts Associate will play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and contributing to company growth through accurate quoting, effective communication, and cross-department collaboration. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle complex pricing scenarios, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive revenue opportunities within key accounts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and provide accurate product quotes for current and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with Owners and Production Managers to ensure precise pricing and product availability.
• Follow up with customers, Production Managers, and Planners to confirm quotes and address inquiries.
• Assess material details, minimum yields, and catalog comparisons for quotes.
• Leverage sales opportunities through cross-selling, upselling, and introducing new products/services.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments impacting key accounts.
• Foster relationships with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, customer support) for seamless service delivery.
• Maintain expertise in customer service principles and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
• Basic knowledge of firearms or a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with ERP customer service support software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on strategic sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Location & Commitments

• Full-time, permanent position located at facility in Paso Robles, CA.
• In-office work schedule: 5 days per week.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods in a stationary position.
• Frequent use of computer equipment.

Eligibility Requirements

• Pass pre-employment medical physical and drug screening.
• Clear a Federal Criminal Background Check (ATF permit requirement).
• Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
