Delivery Driver
AAA Rent-All seeks a delivery driver who can:
Safely drive delivery vehicles/trailers (CDL preferred but not required)
Load and unload construction equipment from trucks/trailers.
Deliver and pickup rental equipment to/from job sites and store locations.
Check equipment for damage upon pick up. Communicate any damage to the supervisor.
Confirm all items/included accessories are returned. Report missing items to the supervisor.
Prepare returned items for the next renter per our Service Guidelines.
Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform policy.
Attend instructional meetings as required.
Practice personal safety and report any other safety concerns to supervisor.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form.
Assist in other segments of the business as needed such as working in the warehouse or equipment yard.
Requirements:
Customer service skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Positive, willing attitude.
Must be able to understand and complete instruction.
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Must be able to pass a company drug screen .
Valid driver’s license.
Heavy lifting, a significant amount of walking, bending, pushing, and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions is required. Work is in general warehouse conditions normally not heated or air conditioned as well as outside with varying weather conditions. Chemicals, including gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, and cleaning solvents are commonly encountered in this position.
