CNC Machinist
We are R&D quick turnaround job shop with CNC turning and boring mills, 5 axis machining welding, and fabrication shop in our 62nd year of business. We manufacture a wide variety of components but specialize in stainless steel vacuum chambers, pressure vessels, and related components. We work a 4-day work week with overtime on Friday.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
Set up and run their own jobs.
Programs are written offline but may need editing and optimization.
Knowledge of CNC lathes, CNC horizontal boring mills, CNC vertical boring lathes and CNC bridge mills with B axis and Fanuc controls are pluses.
Be able to use all types of measuring tools to make a quality part.
Qualifications of the CNC Machinist
Minimum 1 year of CNC mills or lathes or graduated from a known machining program.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
