Holy Trinity: An Episcopal School, serving children in Preschool through Eighth grade on two campuses in Bowie and Glenn Dale, Maryland is welcoming qualified applicants for a Part-time Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record focusing on Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures. She/he must successfully pass a criminal background check. This position will report directly to the Head of High School Prep and begins on March 24, 2025.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach 6th Grade Introductory Spanish
- Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish required; Master’s Degree preferred; MSDE certification preferred
- Experience working in an independent school setting preferred
- Willingness to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and parents
- Spanish fluency
- Eagerness to embrace the mission and values of Holy Trinity and our connection to the Episcopal Church
- Commitment to equity and inclusion and have experience working with a diverse student population
- Genuine enthusiasm, personal warmth, and high energy level
Candidates will be subject to a criminal background check, a Child Protection Services screening and a MSDE Employment History Review screening for Child Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct prior to employment, as well as a driving record screening.
