What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Cashier position at HONEY DEW DONUTS?
We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages to customers. You will also be responsible for packing up to-go orders, running food to the customers, and ensuring that the store is clean and well-stocked at all times.
Duties:
- Manual espresso station- pull espresso shots, steam milk, make espresso based drinks
- Create tea-based drinks, and other specialty iced and hot beverages
- Take orders
- Make sandwiches
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Keep store clean, well stocked.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment
- Stock supplies such as cups, lids, napkins, straws, and bottled beverages
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred
- Friendly and welcoming personality, customer service oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility available to work weekends
