What You'll Do

As a Lead Maintenance Person at Honey Homes, you'll provide proactive, high-quality home maintenance for our members, from routine tasks like changing air filters and gutter cleaning to one-off requests such as installing smart home devices or fixing a light switch. You'll also coordinate community services, such as organizing a knife sharpening event or holiday light installations.

You’ll manage 30-60 homes within a single neighborhood, becoming a trusted part of the community. Supported by our technology, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional service while Honey Homes helps you grow your career with training and advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on major home appliances and systems
• Organize neighborhood events and group services
• Build lasting relationships with members as their go-to home advisor
• Provide feedback to improve our service offerings

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills - personable, trustworthy, and solution-focused
• Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting home appliances and systems
• Comfortable installing and modifying Wi-Fi, smart locks, and other smart home devices
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work
• Commitment to safety

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in apartment maintenance AND 3 years in single-family home maintenance / construction
• Licensed general contractors, electricians, and plumbers are highly encouraged to apply
• Valid driver’s license

License/Certification:
