Summary:
This individual will support activities in two areas: data analytics and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) applications. For data analytics projects, the selected candidate will:
- Leverage the KCNSC’s Big Data Platform (Hue, Apache Spark , Zeppelin, etc.) to support the development and deployment of tools aimed at process improvement, defect reduction, and predictive analytics for manufacturing and business applications
- Support the ingestion, data preparation, curation, and governance of large, multi-faceted data sets supporting analytics models and workflows
- Contribute to the production of information products, supporting visualization and data accessibility in a customer centric manner
As part of the VR/AR team, they will contribute to:
- Supporting KCNSC digital transformation activities including smart factory, data visualization, and adaptive training
- Planning and execution of both VR and AR experiences
- Leading and influencing research projects focused on improving training, collaboration, and work instructions
- Working with collaborative team to determine future VR/AR research and production needs
