Admistrative Assistant

Hood River PowerSports & Marine (HRP), located in Hood River, formerly Mid Columbia Marine & Motorsports, is looking for a personable, passionate, professional administrative assistant / receptionist to field and distribute calls and assist with operations as your skillset will support. At HRP, we place a significant emphasis on our customer service to provide stellar customer service for a wide variety of sales and service of Motorcycles (on and offroad), ATV’s, Side x Sides, new boat rigging, apparel and safety gear.

We have a large retail and service store and are in the process of expanding our customer service and throughput capacity for sales and service and to improve our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. A candidate with experience in both sectors is ideal, however experience in either of these sectors or experience within the automotive sector is highly appreciated.

HRP currently is an authorized dealer for the following mfg. lines: Yamaha Power Sports and Marine, Yamaha E-Bike, Kawasaki, Kove, Artic Leopard, RFN, CFMOTO, Sherco, Kayo, Alcom and Iron Eagle Trailers. We are an approved distributor for the largest and best powersports distribution companies in the respective industries and continue to expand our portfolio as needed.

Duties:
- Greet customers on the phone and in person as they walk into the sales showroom or service department

- Interview customers and determine what they need and direct them to the appropriate personnel that can assist

- Assist with administrative tasks such as entering and managing major unit and parts/accessories inventory

- Assist with workspace management for cleanliness and organization to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

- Follow up with customers and prospect customers to offer further customer support and ensure customer satisfaction

- Support social media and digital marketing if skillset supports this knowledgebase and interest.

- Support sales team with warranty and finance scope if skillset supports

Experience:
- Previous experience in power sports, marine or automotive industry preferrable.

Compensation is based on experience, education, job scope capacity and work schedule availability.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
