Under direction of the school principal/or appropriate supervisor/Administrator, the Drama Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Drama program.
Salary Rate Range:
15% of Teacher Salary Scale

Qualifications:
- Experience working with after school drama programs, preferred.
- You must complete the new hire compliance training prior to your first day of employment.
- Bilingual Preferred
- Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check. Selected candidates cannot begin work until passing their background check.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULUR LINKAGES
- Responsible for mounting two full-length theatrical productions each academic school year (one in fall, one in spring).
- Responsible for organizing and supervising auditions for theatrical productions.
- Responsible for recruiting production staff members.
- In mounting productions, the drama coach provides students exposure to comic, dramatic, and musical forms of theater.
- Responsible for conducting/monitoring/orchestrating daily rehearsals leading to the final production.
- During rehearsals, the drama coach supervises thater games and creative drama excercises relevant to performance development.
- Organize and supervise ancillary committees inlcuding; committee heads; crews including business, stage manager, lighting, sound, make-up, costume, and publicity.
- Responsible for preparing the production budget, overseeing distribution and collection of ticket monies, regulating/use of replacement lamps and related technical equipment.
- Responsible for obtaining and securing all props and costumes.
