We are seeking a skilled Forensic Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of dynamic, skilled peer support specialists, grow the supports already in place for our criminal and substance use background participants, and find new supports to generate continued growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervises Forensic/Life/Peer Support Specialist(s)
- Models recovery principles while fulfilling HLVLE’s mission statement and pursuing the HLVLE vision.
- Must meet minimum AZDHS credentialing requirements for Behavioral Health Paraprofessional.
- Facilitates department payroll.
- Works with Billing Department to assist in facilitating membership intakes, referrals and maintains membership medical files.
- Collaborates with RBHA and Provider Networks and community organizations.
- Develops and supports recovery principles through group class/workshop sessions and one on one member peer-support.
- Coordinates court participation and supports outreach programs
- Ensures completion of paperwork, billing claims (encounter reporting), sign-in and security procedures (follows HIPAA policy and procedures).
- Handles special facilitative projects and program marketing, as well as overflow work from department as directed by supervisor.
- Create and manages direct care staff schedules.
- Manages all recovery programs both on site and in the community.
- Develop and shares recovery-oriented material.
- Attend continuing education/training sessions when offered.
- Attend relevant seminars, meetings, and in-service trainings whenever offered.
- Provides and advocates for effective recovery based services.
- Encounters members and accurately enters billing information
- Meets with Supervisor weekly (minimum) on referrals from the courts, updates applicable tracking spreadsheets.
- Ensures building security.
COMMUNICATION:
- Maintains and follows effective communication with supervisor, recipients, coworkers and other community members/entities.
- Maintains and follows professional demeanor at all times.
- Check deadlines on incoming requests and put preliminary work in play.
KEY DUTIES:
- Follows all HLVLE’s policies, procedures and protocols.
- Transport recipients using personal vehicle/company vehicle as needed.
- Maintains and follows satisfactory punctuality and attendance as set on the work schedule.
- Document billable activities that encourage, assist and support recipients expressing their perspectives including assessment, service planning and service delivery, which demonstrate Hope Lives focus on diverse/integrated community transformation.
- Ensures that all assigned staff complete initial and annual MCIW’s.
- Assists team in meeting weekly encounters.
- Facilitates staff morning meeting (includes documentation of morning meetings, sign-in sheets, agenda and minutes).

QUALIFICATIONS:

***MUST HAVE CLEAN 39-MONTH DRIVER RECORD***
EDUCATION: HS/GED Required
Experience: 3-5 years
Job Specific: Behavioral Health Service recipient or family member with sufficient recovery and system experience to coach, mentor, guide, and support others.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to sit in one position and remain focused for extended periods of time; ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work; strong attention to detail.
Computer Skills: General Internet; Basic Data Entry; Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Credible Software; bilingual (English/Spanish); Effective interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication skills; must have level of emotional maturity that reflects appreciation of individuals from all ethnic, racial and/or religious backgrounds; values must reflect compassion and concern for others as well as the belief that all individuals, regardless of their circumstances or the severity of their disabilities, deserve respect and dignity; sound judgment; ability to follow directions; time management skills; must be able to share common experiences with behavioral health recipients; reliable transportation a must.
