School Age Teacher Assistant - Experience in an after school setting required and willing to work toward a School Age Endorsement or degree in Education or a related field. You will work with the lead teacher to provide an educational, safe, emotionally supportive environment for the children. Hours are flexible and could be 12pm to 6pm or 2pm to 6pm Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate Range: $13.00 to $15.00/hr. Placement in this range is dependent on professional development levels for education and training. School Age Driver- Professional driving experience preferred but willing to train the right person. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be willing and able to drive a 14-passenger mini school bus and a 6-passenger minivan. No CDL is required. Must be 21 years of age to drive Horizon vehicles. You will be trained to safely transport children to and from local schools and field trips in the summer. This may be a combination of working in the classroom, monitoring children on field trips, and driving the mini-bus. Pay is $15 per hour. During the school year part-time position, hours are Monday through Friday 2p - 4p driving only or 2p- 6p which is a combination of driving and working in the classroom with the children. Full-time hours are expected during the summer to help take children on field trips and monitor them during the trip and in the classrooms.
