What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Professional position at Horizon Federal Credit Union?
The Accounting Professional monitors and provides accounting support for all staff and our members as well as high-level support to the Financial Department and Chief Financial and Information Officer.
Some duties will include: maintaining Credit Union accounts and transactions, accounts payable, bank reconciliations as well as financial and tax reporting. The Accounting Professional will also assist in the preparation of the Asset/Liability reports, performing financial reporting, cash management and forecasting reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 year’s accounting experience required. Full-Time, Monday-Friday. The position is located in Williamsport.
