Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for a mixture of customer service, warehouse work, loading and unloading trucks, as well as occasionally making deliveries on an as needed basis.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to our customers
• Handling and/or processing of related paperwork, as required
• Develop and maintain good rapport with customers
• Maintain and count inventory
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Must be respectful of our company image at all times
• Heavy lifting required to load and unload product
• Familiar with pre-trip inspections of trucks. Inform management of any problems or maintenance issues relating to the truck. Must operate truck in a safe manner by obeying speed limits and traffic laws

Preferred Requirements:

• Possess good to excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to read and interpret, in English, job related documents
• Be able to maintain focus on tasks at hand with high level of attention to detail
• Be able to follow an established routine and able to interact in a team environment
• Have the ability to do simple math (add, subtract, divide and multiply)
• Must be able to identify products by way of work related documents such as pick lists, work orders, shipping documents, etc.
• Effective communicate with customers, ability to do quotes and order entry
• Be a “self-managing” employee
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat to perform loading/unloading assignment(s)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid DOT physical card, as well as a valid Class C driver’s license
• Must have a clean, professional appearance
• Must have PC / Windows / Office skills, SAP software experience a plus
• Be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
• No DUI or License suspensions in the last 5 years
