QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent/Vocational School/Trade School.
Completion of State approved apprenticeship program.
Have a State D License or S License.
Skills equated with three to five years experience in the field.
JOB SUMMARY
Maintains total HVAC operation in close conjunction with HVAC Lead Mechanic to insure safe, reliable, well run and maintained distribution of heat and treated air all year round.

Standing/walking continuously - up to 8 hours.
Lift 21-50 pounds frequently.
Pull/push 21-50 pounds frequently.

Train others on basic requirements of operation.
Perform HVAC duties. Locate, detect and repair all malfunctions.

Inspect system for leaks and malfunctions and make minor electronic repairs and adjustments.
Performs any other related tasks, activities and responsibilities as assigned or requested for the purpose of completing department projects and maintenance duties within established timeframes and in a safe efficient manner.

Keeps required logs and records on maintenance and repairs.
