The PM Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of china, glass and silver and F&B Equipment, while adhering to all hotel standards and required health and sanitation laws.

Responsibilities

Wash, clean pots, china, glass and silver according to sanitation regulations and hotel standardsFollow safety procedures when operating the dish machine, handling sink and F&B equipmentHandle china, glass, silver and equipment with care to prevent breakage 

Dry, sort and stack clean dishes in appropriate areasPractice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service

Assist with cleaning equipment and mopping floors 

Adhere to the department SOP's, handbook and hotel policies Clean equipment, counters, floors, discard trash in the kitchen and employee breakroom areas

Adhere to the hotel Standard of Appearance Deliver dirty dishes and linen to appropriate area Sort and stock clean items; handle with care to avoid breakageClean, sanitize and organize work area

Asisst in other areas as requiredPerform other job functions as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year related dishwasher experience in a full service luxury hotel or fine dining restaurantAbility to speak and understand basic English and follow instructionsBilingual - Englsh/Spanish - preferred

Excellent work ethics and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines

Ability to stand, walk, use both hands for long periods, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, push, pull, carry at least 90 lbsAttention to detail and ability to handle glass, china, fragile items and silverware and equipment with care

Must be dependable and able to perform duties with minimum supervisionMust be available to work any shifts - Primarily PM, weekends, holidays
