This is a remote position, but candidates must be local to the Chicago, IL area to meet with clients in person regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account-Based Sales: Manage and grow a select portfolio of key accounts, including real estate brokerages and top agents, with the goal of increasing home inspection volume year over year.
- Market Share Growth: Develop strategic sales plans to expand our presence in the Chicago market, focusing on relationship-building, client engagement, and education around home inspections.
- Regular Client Meetings: Conduct weekly in-person and virtual meetings with realtors and brokers to ensure consistent engagement and business development.
- Educational Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and lunch-and-learn sessions to real estate offices, showcasing the value of partnering with House Call Home Inspection.
- Client Retention & Expansion: Foster long-term relationships with key accounts, identifying upselling opportunities to increase revenue.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, track key metrics, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Objection Handling: Confidently address client concerns, overcome objections, and close deals while maintaining professionalism and trust.
- Networking & Events: Represent House Call Home Inspection at industry events, networking meetings, and trade shows to enhance our market visibility.

- Professional Communication: Excellent presentation skills, capable of engaging large real estate offices as well as one-on-one meetings with top-producing agents.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses CRM tools and sales analytics to identify growth opportunities and drive strategy.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Thrives in a competitive, ever-changing real estate market while maintaining a proactive and determined sales approach.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4 years of sales experience in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in account management, relationship-building, and business development.
- Experience utilizing CRM software to track and manage sales pipelines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Canva and Outlook) for presentations and reporting.
- Reliable vehicle for local travel within the Chicago area.
- High-speed internet to support virtual meetings and remote work.
Preferred:
- Experience in real estate sales or related industries (title, lending, home warranty, or home services).
- Prior experience in account-based sales and managing high-value client relationships.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
Work Environment:
- Outside sales role with a mix of in-person client meetings and remote work.
- Frequent travel within the Chicago metro area to meet with real estate professionals.
