Household Staffing is Hiring a Nanny Near Long Beach, NY
Private family with two working parents, 2 children and one on the way looking for a Nanny who resides near Long Beach, New York.
The Ideal Candidate: We have two kids with another on the way. We would need help with getting them to and from school, meals, homework, and other children activities (swim, dance, etc) It is important that our home looks as it did when we left in the morning. We keep a clean home.
What Works Best for Family: The family needs coverage Monday-Friday but has grandmom helping 1-2 days a week. Therefore, the nanny only needs to work 3 -4 days per week (but hours would be full time) During the months of February and March, the family would prefer this individual to work 5 days a week. If working 60 hours a week is too much, the family can be flexible. Baby is coming in May and mom is on maternity leave until November. If the nanny wants to work a flex schedule during the Summer, the family is open to that. The family wants a nanny who is creative to keep the children engaged in activities and not on electronics. Every day they should be at the park or beach, even in the Winter. They would prefer someone who is CPR certified.

- Errands: 2/3 times a wk Grocery Shopping
- Driving: Car Available for Position
- Travel: No Travel Required

- Work Hours: (must be at the home 6:50AM -mom and dad take the train to work in the city - 6:30 PM
- Languages: English
- Experience: Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
- Personality Traits:
Warm, loving, engaging, silly and outgoing.
Position Compensation
- Salary: $30-$35 per hour depending on individual's experience
- Living Accommodations: Live Out
- Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation-family prefers to take vacation at the same time
- Additional Benefits: Family can give most major holidays off and paid - but not holidays such as Columbus Day or Veterans day because they work these holidays, 3 sick days
