Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Manage floor care by utilizing appropriate techniques for different flooring types to maintain their appearance and longevity.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained; report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
• Collaborate with housekeeping team to implement best practices for efficient cleaning processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina is required; candidates should be able to lift and move items as needed throughout the day.
