Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical field support for manufacturing, industrial, production, and machinery equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and production systems at client sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery and production systems in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Train clients on equipment usage, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with the engineering and support teams to ensure efficient solutions to customer problems.
- Document all service activities, technical issues, and resolutions in service logs and reports.
- Collaborate with customers to identify potential issues and recommend improvements to their equipment or systems.
- Assist in system testing, configuration, and calibration.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 15 years of hands-on experience in a field support, maintenance, or technical troubleshooting role within the manufacturing, industrial, or machinery sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery systems, and production processes.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently between assigned locations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to different customer needs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in industrial settings.
- Experience with automation systems, PLCs, or control systems is a plus.
