Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a fulfilling role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of students? In this direct placement role, you'll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your work-life balance while earning a competitive salary. What You'll Do:
- Provide top-tier, direct speech-language therapy to students in therapy room settings.
- Conduct both standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results, and develop comprehensive reports to evaluate strengths and areas of concern in motor speech, fluency, voice, language, literacy, pragmatics, and dysphagia.
- Create child and family-centered, strength-based treatment plans designed for meaningful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with IEP, ETR, and progress monitoring procedures in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collect daily data and adapt therapy to student performance trends, ensuring consistent progress.
- Attend IEP and MFE meetings, providing timely and necessary documentation to the team.
- Collaborate with staff and interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic support for each student's development.
- Guide and educate staff, primary care providers, and educational team members in classroom strategies that ensure skill generalization and recognize when a referral for a speech and language evaluation is needed.
- Organize, follow, and communicate a daily schedule to building leaders and department supervisors.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois SLP License
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) No CF candidates, please.
- Ability to meet the 30 billable hours per week requirement.
- Strong self-starter with a growth-oriented mindset, who thrives in an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
- Comfortable and confident working with a diverse workforce.
- Must be forward-thinking and adaptable this is a newly launched speech services program, and your input will be valued in shaping its future!
Preferred:
- Credentials with multiple insurance companies.
- ABA/Behavioral background or dual certification.
- Pediatric experience, particularly with special needs populations such as autism.
