OnPoint Data Strategy, a high-growth orientated data firm specializing in conservative direct response fundraising, is seeking a Head of Data Processing. We are seeking a high energy “A” player with commitment to continual process improvement, leadership and team development, outside the box problem solving, and an individual who takes initiative to proactively solve problems.The ideal candidate will have experience guiding and coaching a team, as well as familiarity with the direct mail and data processing industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand their goals and expectations.
• Hire, train, and coach a team focused on exceeding expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce strong commitment to quality control.
• Manage and oversee the data processing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Develop and document data standards, policies, and procedures, and provide guidance and training to other staff on data management best practices.
• Implement and evaluate process improvement initiatives to enhance data collection, data processing, analysis, and reporting workflows.
• Work with development team to design and develop automated solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• 4 years in team leadership position (Supervisor or above).
• 2 years in data related position (Analysis, Processing, Strategy, Development, Etc.)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Competent understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework, and a proven track record of working with large datasets & PII Information.
• Experience with database software/web applications.
• Experience implementing data automation tools and processes.
• Knowledge of database languages like SQL, R, and Python, and proficient in BI reporting (Tableau or PowerBI) a plus.
