Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
- Teach proper piano technique, music theory, and sight-reading skills
- Select appropriate repertoire for students to practice and perform
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in playing the piano and knowledge of various musical styles
- Experience working with students of different ages and skill levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
