What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified HIV Testing Counselor position at HUG?
A multi-state non-profit clinic is looking to hire HIV and Hep C testers for our outreach sites located in Newark and in office in Melbourne, FL.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with members of the intravenous drug users/opioid recovery community who at an increase risk for Hepatitis C and HIV.
The outreach team located on site would be responsible for coordinating with providers located off-site to establish and maintain care. Previous experience as a phlebotomist, MA, or LPN is a huge plus.
The right person should be passionate about service work and helping others. Compassion for those in need and a desire to help is key. Please do not apply if you are just looking for employment.
If you have some base knowledge of HIV, PrEP and Hep B and C that is ideal but we train all of our employees.
Spanish speaker is a huge plus

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
