Looking for Stand-up forklift
Day shift: 8:30am-5pm
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized to maintain safety standards.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to build orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times while operating machinery in the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to ergonomic practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
