Human Touch Health Care is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Washington, DC

Human Touch Home Health Care s looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain accurate payroll records for employees
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Reconcile payroll data to general ledger accounts
  • Perform data entry for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee information and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
  • Proficient in data entry and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations
  • Experience with payroll software such as Paychex, Ceridian, Workday, or Kronos
  • Ability to analyze financial concepts related to payroll
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Benefit Knowledge

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work location: Onsite
