Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Billing: Prepare and submit claims for home health care services to all insurance companies,
- Supervision: Oversee the billing team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
- Follow-up and Denials: Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims, manage denials, and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing practices comply with current healthcare regulations and coding standards.
- Reporting: Generate and review billing reports, present summaries to upper management, and suggest strategies for improving cash flow and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate documentation and communication regarding patient billing.
- Proven experience in both billing and supervising within the home health care industry.

- Proficiency in billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
