Mobile Pet Groomer

Hungry Hound is seeking an experienced groomer to handle our growing mobile grooming service. This position will require you to be able to work alone, handling dogs with care and compassion as well as lifting dogs safely.

About this position:

Mobile Groomer

• Bathing and drying
• Nail trimming and filing
• Ear cleaning
• Anal gland expression
• Hair cut to clients liking with scissors and or clippers
• Teeth brushing and/or add on services such as de-shedding, facials, deep conditioners
• Cat grooming a plus!

Skills you must possess:

• At least 1 year of prior professional grooming experience.
• Clear driving record
• Able to pass drug tests (pre-employment and/or random)
• Knowledge of area and local routes
• Careful, kind, and safe with all breeds and temperaments of dogs
• Be able to lift both small and giant breed dogs and restrain them for their safety when necessary
• Familiar with technology to enter appointments, create tickets, accept credit card payments
• Have a positive and upbeat personality
• Be able to communicate with dog owner to ensure services they require are understood and or concerns are communicated after
• Finish all dogs in a timely manner
• Be able and willing to perform walk in services such as nail trims and ear cleaning
• Maintain a clean environment and taking care of van maintenance reporting.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a smile
