Maintenance Operations Analyst

A Brief Overview

The Maintenance Operations Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager, Maintenance Operations, supporting maintenance operations through maintenance data analysis and reporting. The primary responsibilities of this role includes assisting in supporting data accuracy and compliance within maintenance policy, procedure, and legal documents within maintenance records, compilation and analysis of maintenance data and reports, to include those submitted to government partners, as well as identifying areas of potential risk and training opportunities. This includes Yardi operations and documentation. This position requires a significant amount of Yardi, Excel, Power Point, and other Microsoft platform skills and knowledge, Maintenance Operations, as well as exemplary attention to detail, organizational and strategic thinking skills.

What You Will Do

• Performs portfolio-wide data driven analysis and evaluation of maintenance performance, metrics, and adherence to operational policy and procedure, in line with legal agreements.
• Conducts analysis of maintenance records to ensure accuracy and compliance with HMC policy and procedure and in line with legal agreements.
• Produces data driven reporting as required internally and externally; validates compliance with maintenance standard operating procedures; daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Collaborates within the Maintenance Operations Team on maintenance support initiatives and strategy by providing detailed analysis of metrics and data related to maintenance operations.
• Prepares preliminary performance incentive fee packages, accurate population of preliminary data generated from Yardi; conducts preliminary review of all subjective information from the government to ensure accuracy in calculations, communicating any discrepancies found to the Sr Manager, Maintenance Operations.
• Supports government related metrics reporting; monthly/quarterly/semi-annually/annually.
• Learns all HMC Technical Platforms related to Maintenance to effectively deliver strong, reliable results in maintenance reporting and analysis.
• Learns and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Learns and is knowledgeable on maintenance related legal documents.
• Upholds all company policies, goals, and values.
• Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Escalates property issues or any crises to appropriate parties.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred Preferred
• Three plus years property management maintenance administrative experience. Required
• Working knowledge of Yardi, to include Yardi reporting, required. Required
• Previous experience utilizing database queries and structures for modeling, extracting, and reporting information preferred. Preferred
• Exemplary Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
• Ability to organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a self- directed leader of multiple initiatives.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, strategic thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance/warehouse operations and purchasing/inventory.
• General knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, property maintenance processes and the related to successful multifamily operations.
  
  

Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $52,000 - $60,800, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer. We also offer a generous total compensation and benefits package.
