Responsibilities
- Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using data processing frameworks on the Azure cloud platform.
- Design and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources with Azure Databricks.
- Lead the design of ETL processes, data integration, and data migration strategies.
- Integrate end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop and deploy data-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate tools to meet customer requirements.
- Support additional project components such as API interfaces and search capabilities.
- Must be located within a 50-mile radius of Jersey City, New Jersey.
- Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and Pyspark.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL Database, and Data Warehousing.
- Strong experience with Azure components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Analytics, LogicApps, and FunctionApps.
- Expertise in performance tuning within a Databricks environment.
- Proficient understanding of SQL, T-SQL, and/or PL/SQL.
- Experience working on Agile projects and familiarity with using Jira.
- Experience handling data ingestion projects in the Azure environment.
