About the role
Join a leading tech company based in Ottawa, specializing in Cyber Security solutions. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee critical projects in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and lead initiatives that protect sensitive information. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Cyber Security projects focused on IAM, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Develop and present project proposals, implementation plans, and status reports.
- Prioritize and coordinate project activities to achieve objectives.
- Manage change requests and risk mitigation plans.
- Define and track success measures to ensure adoption and transformation progress.
- Foster collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to align requirements and achieve project goals.
- Facilitate Agile practices, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide updates on progress and value delivery to IAM management and sponsors.
- Ensure completion of all project deliverables and related documentation.
Requirements
- Must reside within 50 miles of Ottawa, ON.
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security and IT.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium-to-large implementation projects in Cyber Security.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into project objectives.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Proven experience in facilitation, problem resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting workshops and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Preferred skills
- PMP Certification.
- Certified Agile Leader or Kanban Management Professional (KMP).
- Experience in the Cyber and IAM domain.
- Familiarity with the client’s core business processes and functions.
- Advanced verbal and written communication and facilitation skills.
