This position is a Hybrid position and is based out of one of our offices in Jackson, Josephine or Lane County, OR. Periodic travel throughout Oregon required.

We are searching for an experienced Sales Leader, preferably with experience in the telecommunications industry. As a Sales Manager at Hunter, you’ll be expected to create and execute detailed and comprehensive sales strategies consistent with our business plan and goals. This includes analyzing data, creating and managing your own budget, daily tracking and reporting KPIs, sales forecasting, and collaborating with other departments to ensure success. You’ll be the right candidate if your plans and execution align with our strategic pillars of People, Process, Technology, and Financial Health and are done in a highly collaborative manner.
Additionally, in this position, you’ll be required to produce presentations showing your team’s monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance along with your strategic initiatives. This includes the recruitment, training, and support of door-to-door, MDU, and phone sales professionals. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide guidance to the sales team and door to door team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and strategies.

Mentor and develop the sales team, providing training and performance
feedback.
Sales Strategy and Planning: - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for
growth. -
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute sales
campaigns.
Customer Relationship Management:

Address customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure customer
satisfaction. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
Performance Monitoring:
- Set individual and team sales KPI’s and track performance against these goals.
- Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to Leadership.
- Use CRM tools to monitor sales activities and manage customer data.
Administrative Duties:
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of sales reports and forecasts.
- Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Oversee the hiring and training of new sales team members.
Strategic Planning:
- Effectively and continually evaluate overall sales strategy for assigned products and formulate executable plans to ensure the ongoing competitive advantage of Hunter Communications service offerings.
- Provide sales leadership to channel partners, inside and outside internal sales teams, and online sources of leads and sales.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of cross-function collaboration with all departments including but not limited to marketing, installation/maintenance, engineering, construction, finance, and IT.
- Strategic planning and execution of MDU sales channels including standard, bulk, instant activation for both greenfield and brownfield opportunities.
- Create and collaborate on product recommendations and strategic expansion.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally as appropriate to ensure all stakeholders are included in the development and execution of the department strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, including at least 3 years of experience as a sales leader within the telecommunications industry.
- Must reside in Jackson, Josephine, or Lane County, Oregon.
- Demonstrated relevant experience driving MDU and SFU revenues/market share in existing service and new build areas while managing to industry-leading churn results.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work within a team.
- Passion for the telecommunications industry and sales leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to take share from telecom and cable companies.
