Essential Duties
- Actively participates with other members of the Operations team in implementing solutions that will have a direct impact on the organization and its success
- Leads projects aimed at improving the group's current operational challenges
- Analyzes available data to assist in decision making
- Works cross functionally with other groups to organize and implement sustainable processes to advance our day-to-day operations
- Learns and leverages lean tools to solve challenging problems including active interaction with shop floor team and manufacturing processes
- Completes assigned tasks on time and budget while meeting technical requirements
- Gathers and assembles data for CI and Plant Leadership
- Performs a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the manufacturing, planning, supply chain, finance, and quality, staff, methods, programs and practices
- Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs
- HS Diploma; Must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering or Business program
- Receives and follows directions
- Interacts professionally with teammates and colleagues
- Possesses basic oral and written communication skills
- Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
- Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
