Research and Development Manager will lead a team of scientists and technicians to develop central chemistry and rheology solutions that impact multiple businesses in alignment with the R&D strategy. This position will guide the team in safety initiatives as well as laboratory operations, and report to the Senior R&D Leader.
Research and Development Manager Responsibilities :
- Build an annual performance objective for safety.
- Partners with Program Leaders and business unit R&D teams to build a capability development roadmap in alignment with the strategy and business unit long term plans.
- Executes development of new capabilities through a balanced mix of external partnerships and internal investments.
- Establishes and maintains deep collaborations between teams across the organization.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes chemistry lab work in strong collaboration with Program Leaders and Business Unit R&D teams.
