Receptionist
Job Summary:
To serve as the first point of contact
Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education in the field of office technology desired; however, will consider high school graduate with a minimum of three years work experience in an office setting. Candidate must have knowledge and experience in general office procedures, computer skills and record-keeping techniques. Position requires optimum interpersonal skills and ability to perform multiple tasks. Familiarity with multi-line telephone systems and Microsoft Office programs helpful.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming/transferred telephone calls
- Provide direction and assistance to clients and visitors
- Abide by rules of confidentiality concerning client information
- Enter and maintain daily records on computerized tracking program and provide statistical reports
- Assist with preparation of bulk mailings
- Receive in-kind donations
- Ensure that all donations are controlled and delivered to the donation department head in a timely fashion
- Receive, process and distribute incoming mail
- Perform general clerical duties (typing, filing, copying)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
