Schedule: M-F 730am - 4:30pm (overtime as needed/available)
Starting Wage: $20.00 - $23.00 p/h (depending on experience, qualifications)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Learn, improve, and deliver high quality work within the honorable plumbing trade (we care strongly what our works says about us, you should too).
- Locate and identify leaks
- Repair or replace pipes and parts
- Determine the correct tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete job
- Assist with preparing cost estimates for clients
- Help Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes
- Clean job site after work is completed
- Answer client queries
- Follow Plumber’s instructions
- Regular, prompt, on-site attendance essential for physically installing equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in any/all outdoor conditions while executing tasks with minimal supervision
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years hands on experience in the plumbing field/trade – OR – 1 year plumbing experience AND 1 year general experience in construction or related trades
- Operational familiarity with use of hand/power tools used in the plumbing trades.
- Proficiency in basic math and conversion of measurements.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid WA State Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Valid Plumber Trainee License
- Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting, and carrying.
- Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
