Project Manager/Account Manager

General Description – Project Manager
Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Project Manager coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure the successful delivery of Hutchinson products, specifically for tracked vehicle programs. Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, execution, and delivery. Identify customer product requirements, goals, and constraints to create detailed plans. Monitor progress against plan milestones and agreed guidelines, prepare reports for senior management, and prepare project trackers and customer documentation. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in the Project Manager role.
- Coordinate production planning, vendors/suppliers, engineering, sales and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Assists with planning and coordination of all activities regarding outside vendors
- Coordinate and manage project internal tasks and deliverables
- Analyze data as needed
- Conduct administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, documenting meeting notes and submitting customer quotes
- Monitor and report on tracked vehicle program production progress.

The Account Manager works with the Sales & Marketing organization and other departments to maintain and grow sales of existing and new customer accounts. Resolves customer issues within established guidelines and works with customers to identify satisfactory solutions. Creates, develops, and sustains strong business relationships for growth. Works closely with cross-functional teams. Approximately 25% of the time will be spent in the Account Manager role.
Specific Duties
- Manage existing accounts assigned
- Achieve sales revenue and gross margin targets by aligning value proposition with customer needs. Build strong customer relationships with active listening and positive communication, supported by sales and technical staff
- Generate new revenue streams by identifying customer pain points and matching them with potential solutions
- Evaluate customer's business needs and prepare and submit recommendations and proposals
- Develop a quarterly sales call plan and track account performance
- Coordinate with Production and Purchasing for order lead times
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, solicitations, and quotes. Serve as the customer contact point when required. Work closely with Production and Logistics to ensure that orders ship on time
- Travel domestically to fulfill assigned responsibilities
