HX5 is currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our team at Robins AFB, Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide systems engineering support on activities including risk management, configuration management, requirements development and verification support.
- Lead designated ground and flight test activities with the Government team.
- Facilitating all test planning and test readiness reviews with the Prime Contractor.
- Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action.
- Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures.
- Conduct engineering reviews, studies, audits, and technical analysis.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
- BS degree and eighteen (18) years of professional work experience
Preferences:
- Prior experience with development and acquisition of military weapons systems, especially air-launched missiles.
- Prior experience with planning and execution of tests at any of the following ranges: Pt Mugu Sea Range, Reagan Test Site, Edwards AFB, White Sands Missile Range.
- Prior experience with the RCC 319 process and Frequency Allocation process (DD 1494).
- Prior experience with link margin analysis.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel as necessary.
