As a Quality Engineer Calibration at Hydro-Gear, you’ll
- Use high precision gauging in the design and control of hydrostatic transmissions as well as electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic systems
- Carry out inspections, calibrations, and repairs on specialized precision equipment
- Be responsible for identifying faulty gauges and suggesting necessary upgrades
- Work quickly and methodically to ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to industry standards
- Ensure state of the art metrology, as well as leadership in the company's long term Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) initiatives
Your growth as Hydro-Gear's gauge systems Quality Engineer is critical to the safety and quality of our products for our customers. We’re looking for someone who
- Has a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 1-year manufacturing experience or an associate's degree with 3 years manufacturing experience
- Has experience in Gauge R & R and measurement systems analysis and electronic components and circuitry (desired)
- Has a minimum 2 years’ experience in leading gauge calibration program (desired)
- Is technical and has excellent hand-eye coordination and above-average troubleshooting skills
- Is willing to travel up to 30% to our other plants in KY, IN, TN
- Has experience working well with others in manufacturing roles
