What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Engineer position at Hyper Solutions?
We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering and design to join our Applications Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Director of Applications Engineering, you will be responsible for the working with our sales teams and clients to design solutions to meet mission critical electrical manufacturing specifications.
Requirements
Collaborate closely with the Sales team and clients to design and create solutions that meet the clients’ exact needs.
Responsible for the creation, technical review, and approval of Hyper Solutions’ critical infrastructure solutions for pre-sale quoting functions in support of Hyper Solutions Account Executives.
Ensure the technical feasibility and operational compatibility of solutions in a client-specific context.
Provide detailed documentation and support materials for all designed solutions to facilitate understanding and implementation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Energized by a growing, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in the electrical industry, specifically with critical infrastructure components such as Switchboards, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Remote Power Panels (RPPs), and transformers.
Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of electrical systems configuration and manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt solutions to unique and complex problems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
Must be able to work extended long hours if workload requires to get work done. May be asked to work weekends and Holidays.
This position requires flexibility due to the different time zones and locations of partners.
