Job Summary:Hyundai L&C USA LLC has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. This key position will deliver product to a specified route of fabricators accurately and on time in a friendly and professional manner. The Hyundai Truck Driver will be responsible for driving, securing freight, collecting CODs, and occasional loading and unloading trailers when directed my Operations Manager, following Standard Operating Procedures and FMCSR guidelines always. 

Responsibilities: 

· Retain knowledge of and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations 

· Subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) random substance abuse testing 

· Maintain operating efficiency, safe operation, and clean appearance of truck as well as delivery, truck and driving records 

· Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and adhere to all safety requirements 

· Complete daily bill of ladings and all paperwork thoroughly and completely 

· Correctly obtain paperwork and signatures upon delivery and return paperwork to Administrator’s office 

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any maintenance malfunctions immediately 

· Secure product varying in size and weight before each trip and throughout the day 

· Perform basic quality inspection of product prior to shipment 

· Ensure facility is maintained and kept clean always to promote a safe work environment 

· Drive a lift truck while meeting unit quality and productivity needs 

· Perform all other duties as assigned accurately and courteously 

· Follow planned load reports and stage the proper material 

Desired Skills & Experience: 

· Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required 

· Must have a clean Driving Record 

· Two (2) years of commercial driving experience, accident free, with a commercial motor vehicle 

· Job requires driving company vehicle 80% of time to customers within territory 

· Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements 

· Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee 

· Operate commercial motor vehicle with high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment. 

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds  

· Ability to read, write and speak English 

· Ability to understand basic math concepts 

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

· Exhibit tact and diplomacy in dealing with customers at delivery locations to enhance our organization’s reputation by ensuring courteous customer service 

· Familiarity with region and routes 

· Willing to accept responsibility for work assignments/duties and be held accountable for their successful completion 

· Able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment 

· Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment 

· Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment 

· Able to work flexible hours (start times prior to 5:00 am at times), including overtime and overnight travel (one night a week)

Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Requires ability to safely operate an automobile.
