Position Summary

Team Members are responsible to complete the duties of their assigned work area in a safe, efficient and timely manner.  Conduct themselves in a manner that is compliant with achieving the company’s goals via the company’s Core Values and HTGP Guidebook.

Essential Functions

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain  policies and procedures
  • Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTGP Core Values
  • Complies with all HTGP Certification standards; Management System (IATF16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety ISO 45001 policies and procedures
  • Treats all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesy
  • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment
  • Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management

 EHS:

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Consistently meets company safety goals

 Technical:

  • Understands and applies correct LOTO procedures and sets example for others
  • Works safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Accurately follows and perform Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Exhibits clear competency when performing the roles and responsibilities in specific job duty
  • Works well with others and promote a positive team-orientated work environment
  • Displays knowledge and skills necessary to reset equipment in assigned area
  • Demonstrates an active understanding of processes, procedures, standards and methods in assigned area
  • Achieves production output requirements while maintaining quality standards
  • Actively understands of production schedules and efficiently transitions between model changeovers
  • Adheres to 5S philosophy and maintains a clean working environment
  • Recommends improvements of process or equipment or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency

 Leadership:

  • Works well with others and promote a positive team-orientated work environment
  • Demonstrates an active understanding of policies
  • Communicates to other team members as required

Competency Requirements

Communicates critical issues to Team Leader, Group Leader, Asst. Manager or Manager in a timely manner; cooperate in creating a positive work environment; gives input to achieve improvements with Leadership; works to meet unit/department goals; work with Leadership (as assigned) to develop and implement countermeasures to eliminate root cause and prevent problem recurrence; provide data as needed.

Physical demands also at times may include safely handling multiple, continuous parts flow in and out of manufacturing operations work areas which requires pushing and pulling of carts.  Work environment is climate controlled in most areas.

  • 1 year manufacturing job related experience required (Automotive Manufacturing preferred)
